This is still my FAVORITE Mexican spot in Astoria; hands down! Although their prices have gone up their food quality and portions remain the same ... AMAZING! If I could, I would come here at least once a week but I'm lucky to come here once a month as big as I'm getting; I'm pregnant. I love their nachos mixtos with the three meats and then I had my tostada. Although the nachos were enough, I can't go home without having my favorite tostada. My pictures speak for themselves. The service is amazing. The girls are so nice and attentive. The place is large, clean and just makes you feel like you're in a Mexican restaurant. This place hits the spot every single time. I mean I've been coming here over 10 years faithfully!
Really delicious food, we enjoyed most everything. The mole and suizas sauces are quite spicy, and there aren't any less-spicy sauce alternatives. The shrimp is always cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and they're open relatively late for the neighborhood. The chips are typically a bit stale, and things can be priced on the slightly higher side, depending on what you order.
Great place 25 years and going! Ordered here as a thirty year old now in n my fifties. Bring back the tamales!
Made a quick stop here for dinner on a weeknight, it was really delicious. Portion sizes were HUGE and service was really great. You get complimentary freshly made chips and salsa. Would definitely recommend for quality mexican in NYC. We got enchiladas verdes and one of the beef steak dishes. The enchiladas were super flavorful and came with rice and beans (they are NOT stingy on the rice and beans portions ) The beef steak also came with rice and beans and was so tender and fatty. It really hit the spot The only thing I would comment on somewhat negatively was the horchata being overly sweet, but they give you so much of it, it's literally a to go takeout container. Definitely 24oz or more.

So glad we tried this place! Food was soo good! Complimentary chips and salsa (fresh and a bit on the spicier side) Nachos Texanos with beef. Woah the meat was so tender!! Loved it!! Enchiladas with chicken (green sauce). The chicken was really tasty. There are 4 enchiladas but they were not too big or overstuffed. This was just okay for me. The enchiladas came with rice and refried beans. I loved them- delicious!!! Interior design is a bit bland. Service was great. Kind and attentive. Would come back!
